The squadron's own server, run by the wing. A cooperative dynamic sandbox built on the Scorched Earth framework: CSAR, convoy hunts, ISR for light helicopters and QRA intercepts where you identify unknown contacts under ROE, with dynamic weather, tankers on station and 18 achievements to earn.

  • Texaco and Arco fly the boom at 19,000 ft, 270 knots.
  • Shell is the basket tanker, lower at 15,000 ft (an A-6E since the 10 Sep update).
  • Set the TACAN in air-to-air (Y) to find your tanker.
  • Join on the left, one on the boom at a time (card 05).

  • Hearts sets the CAP first so nobody gets jumped on the way in.
  • Spades push from the IP ahead of the strikers and keep the radars quiet.
  • Clubs run in behind the SEAD, hit the target and turn for home.
  • Everyone egresses outside the rings; the debrief finds out who didn't.

How to get in

How to connect

  1. STEP 01

    Open DCS World

    Launch DCS and open the Multiplayer tab from the main menu.

  2. STEP 02

    Search the list

    Search the server browser for [SPS] Contention or Shadow Aces.

  3. STEP 03

    Check the details

    Passwords, mods and the current mission live on Discord. Ask in the server and someone will sort you out.

  4. STEP 04

    Pick a slot

    Grab your squadron's slot, check the flight board for step time, and get on comms.
